The British ShockWave Association (BSWA)

Prior to the founding of BSWA, there was no shockwave association in the UK. The primary aim of this newly formed association is to bridge the gap between device companies, clinicians and patients, to facilitate an exchange of knowledge and ideas between all of us. We will adhere to national and international guidelines, whilst maintaining a pragmatic, non-exclusive approach in all specialties in which Shockwave Therapy has been proven to be effective.

Our ethos is that it is essential that all healthcare personnel administering Shockwave Therapy are trained to the highest standards, and are aware of all the relevant research and up to date Information to provide effective Shockwave Therapy.

BSWA will facilitate future collaborative research in Shockwave Therapy to ensure a long bright future.
